About Us

About Us

The New Normal Hub was built by patients, for patients — people who have actually been through cancer treatment, laryngectomy, and life after a diagnosis, writing in our own words about what we wish someone had told us. Not a clinical resource written from the outside looking in. This is what we learned by living it.

Every category on this site — financial help, coping and mental health, life after treatment, caregiving, and the rest — comes from a real gap we felt ourselves: information that was hard to find, scattered, or explained in language that assumed you already knew things nobody tells you at diagnosis. We built the resource we needed.

Nobody should have to face this feeling alone. That’s the whole reason this place exists.

    Patients advocating for patients

This hub was built by patients, for patients. Everything here comes from people who have been through this themselves — our own experience, in our own words. Nobody should have to face it feeling alone, and that is the whole reason this place exists.

We always consult our own medical professionals when making decisions about our care, and we encourage you to do the same. What you find here is our opinion and our lived experience. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for your own doctors and care team.
